Achievement Testing for Juniors

  • Here at Papillion-La Vista South High School, we strive for “Excellence in all Things!” This year the junior class will be taking a series of NeSA exams that are designed by Nebraska’s Department of Education to measure their level of achievement in the areas of writing, reading, math, and science.  Our scores will be published and used to rank us against other schools across the state.  Please support your junior class as they take the writing test on January 31st and February 1st.  If they meet their goal and 95% of the students test at a proficient level or higher, the whole school will earn a “hat day” on February 10th! We have proven ourselves on the courts and fields, on the stage and in uniform, and through various competitions, now we want to show the rest of the state our academic achievements because Papillion-La Vista South students strive for “Excellence in all Things!”
  • Papillion-La Vista South will be operating on a block schedule on Tuesday, January 31st, and Wednesday, February 1st, due to NeSA testing.  The times for the start and end of the school day will remain unchanged.  Please see posted block schedules in the hallways or ask a teacher if you have any questions.
