Graduation Requirements
Students should enroll for a minimum of six (6) credits each semester, but it is not uncommon for students to carry more credits when interests and abilities indicate that such a program will be beneficial. A minimum of 45 semester credits is required for graduation. ALL STUDENTS are encouraged to include courses of practical and liberal arts in their selection of elective credits.

| Social Studies | 6 | Six semesters (6 credits) are required, of which two semesters must be U.S. History, two semesters must be World Civilizations, and one semester must be American Government. |
| Math | 5 | Five semesters (5 credits) are required. Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II are strongly recommended for college. |
| Science | 5 | Five semesters (5 credits) are required, of which two semesters must be Biology. |
| Physical Education | 3 | Three semesters (3 credits) are required. |
| Electives | 18 | Eighteen semesters (18 credits) are required. |

The able student is encouraged to take as many courses in mathematics, science, foreign language, social studies and language arts as time will permit. Many students who do outstanding work in high school are credited with this achievement and permitted to take more advanced courses in college.
