Course Descriptions
Conditioning Program
Conditioning Program for all athletes occurs before and after school. The entire athletic staff here at Papillion-La Vista South has established the Titan Power Strength and Conditioning program as the central link to the future of the athletic programs. The basis of Titan Power Training program is to train while standing up, using free weights, in multi-joint movements, while being very explosive. The three categories of power exercises that we use in training are cleans, squats, and presses. Titan athletes use many of the Olympic-style weightlifting movements in their training. Tim is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which is governed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is also certified by USA Weightlifting as a Club Coach to teach the Olympic-style weightlifting movements that are so vital to becoming an explosive athlete.
