GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The Papillion-La Vista Activities Program is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of student interest. A large number of activities are offered including every interscholastic sport and activity sanctioned by the State Athletic association. The major goals and objectives of the activity program are:

  1. To provide opportunities for leadership and experiences in cooperation.
  2. To establish a climate of encouragement and appreciation for students, and for teachers - a necessary essential where effort often goes unnoticed or unappreciated.
  3. To provide every teacher and student an opportunity to become part of a group and hence gain acceptance and a sense of belonging.
  4. To provide membership opportunities and encouragement to participate to all students regardless of race, sex, or social-economic level.

ACTIVITY TICKETS

An activity ticket is a wise investment. This $25 ticket allows a student to attend all home
sponsored activities at no cost, excluding Conference, Invitationals, and N.S.A.A. State events.
The student activity ticket also provides a reduced price for away athletic events. Most schools
will charge you an adult admission fee without student activity tickets. All students taking part
in school sponsored by N.S.A.A. are required to purchase an activity ticket. Replacement of lost
or misplaced Activity Tickets will cost $10. Misuse of an activity ticket may result in loss of
activity ticket privileges with no refund.
