Lucy Arnold, Assistant
Tim Sullivan, Strength Coach
Chad Grossnicklaus is a Certified Athletic Trainer with Alegent Health Sports Medicine in partnership with Papillion La Vista South High School. Chad grew up in Silver Creek, Ne. He attended Silver Creek High School. During that time, he participated in football, basketball, baseball, one act, and speech. While participating in athletics, he felt an interest for pursuing a career in Sports Medicine. This seemed to be a good fit to work in the field of Healthcare, yet remain involved with sports. In addition to following Husker Athletics, Chad's interests include: spending time with friends and family, playing baseball/slow-pitch softball and automobiles.
As an Undergraduate Student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Chad earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Health Education while also working as a student trainer with the Men's Basketball, Men's Gymnastics, and Football Teams. He received his Athletic Certification in February 2002 and accepted an Assistant Athletic Trainer position with the San Antonio Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. After being employed with the SAISD for three and a half years, Chad felt it was in his best interest to return to Nebraska to be close to friends and family. Chad has been the Head Athletic Trainer at Papillion La Vista South High School since the 2005-2006 school year and in the Fall of 2006 is proud to have joined Alegent Health Sports Medicine.
Chad or Lucy Arnold, the Assistant Athletic Trainer will
be at Papillion La Vista South High School from 2 or 2:30
P.M. to 6 or 6:30 P.M. on non-game days. He will be providing
