Coaching Bio's

Coach Branigan is in his first year as Head Coach here at PLSHS. He has spent the last 4 years as the head assistant coach in Monarchland. Previous to that, Coach Branigan served 3 years as assistant coach at Dana College in Blair, Ne. Branigan was a two time state high school champ at his alma-mater Papillion-LaVista High under current head coach Jeff Kupfer. Branigan has a B.S. in Secondary Ed. In the field of Social Sciences in which he has taught U.S. History since graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1997. Coach Branigan enjoys spending time with his wife Terri and one and a half year-old daughter Kelli. The Branigan’s will also be welcoming home a second child this March. In his spare time coach Branigan likes to hunt, fish, play video games, play any sport and spend time with his family.

Coach Greguras was born and raised in Seward, NE. Parents, Ed & Cathy, run a self employed family business. He has one sister, Stephanie, 29, who is married with two daughters, Schyler & Sierra. Chad is a 1995 grad of Seward High School. He has been involved in football, track, and wrestling. Coach Greguras is a four time state qualifier in wrestling, with his best place being 5th in 95'. He graduated from Dana College with a BA in Physical Education. He wrestled three years there, qualifying for NAIA Nationals two times. His previous coaching responsibilities include: 1998-2000 student assistant Dana College, 2000-2002 volunteer assistant Seward High, 2000-2002 assistant Seward Middle School, 2002-2003 head coach at Seward High School. In his sparetime he enjoys fishing, hunting, time with family and friends, and watching and participating in most sports.
