Bill LynamBill Lynam

Mr. Lynam has been teaching Physical Education for seventeen years. Fifteen years at La Vista Junior High and is currently in his 2nd year at Papillion La Vista South High School. Bill graduated from Papillion La Vista High School in 1980. He attended Iowa Western Community College from 1980-1982. He graduated from the University of Omaha in 1986. He received his Masters of Arts Degree in Health Education from UNO in 1991. Bill is currently teaching 9th grade Physical Education. He is currently the head baseball coach. He and his wife Kim have three sons Ryan 12, Colin 4 and Cade 4.

Gwen EgbertGwen Egbert

Gwen Egbert is a 1984 graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While at Nebraska she was an all conference volleyball player winning two big 8 championships. First teaching job was Physical Education at Papillion-Lavista High School in 1987. She was the Head Volleyball coach for 18 years and had 3 state championships and 5 runner-up finishes. Also was an Assistant Boy's Soccer coach for 1 year and Assistant Girl's Track coach for 10. Currently Gwen is in her second year as Physical Education teacher at Papillion-Lavista South High School and also is the Head Volleyball Coach. Her husband Bernie Medinger teaches social studies at Papillion-Lavista High School and has a son, Bill Egbert who is a student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

Joel HueserJoel Hueser

Joel Hueser is a graduate of Kearney High School ('84). He went on to pursue his education at Kearney State College. He graduated ('88) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education (English and Physical Education). Coach Hueser spent his first year teaching English and coaching basketball at Mankato High School in Kansas. After just one year across the border, he moved back to Nebraska and started out teaching seventh grade English at McCook Junior High. Six years later he moved up to McCook Senior High School where he taught health and physical education classes. In 1996, he earned his Masters Degree with a Master Teacher in Physical Education from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. In 2003 the opportunity to become the head boys' basketball coach at Papillion-LaVista South High School lured him away from McCook after 13 years. He is currently teaching in the Physical Education Department. He and his wife Lisa have three children: Sy, Jalen, and Jase.

Dan HoganDan Hogan

Dan Hogan has been a teacher for fourteen years. He taught at Granville Spalding for 3 years and coached at Burk high school for 3 years. He and his wife Alicia were Family-Teacher at Boys Town for eleven years. Dan graduated from Morningside College in 1976. He received his Masters Degree in Human Development of the Family in 1987. from Kansas University. He and his wife Alicia have two daughters, Alexis 21, and Lindsay 19. Dan is currently teaching team sports and lifetime sports in all grades. He is currently the head softball coach.

Mark FritchMark Fritch

Mark Fritch is in his 11th year teaching. Currently teaches four sections of Chemical Science and two sections of weight training. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Peru State in 1994 and his Masters in Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2003. Mark has been the head football coach at Papillion La - Vista South sinse it opened in 2003.

Tim SullivanTim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan is originally from Norfolk, Nebraska where he graduated from Norfolk Senior High School. He was a member of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) football team from 1996 – 2000 that won three North Central Conference Championships during that time. After playing football Tim worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Strength and Conditioning Program at UNO mainly helping with football and women’s track. Tim graduated from UNO in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and enrolled in an Exercise Science graduate program at UNO. In May of 2003, Tim was hired by PL South Athletic Director Jeff Johnson to be the Strength Coach at PL South.
