Through the cooperative efforts of businesses, schools and the community, the mission of Cooperation BEST is to provide students with the skills they need to be productive, responsible citizens. Most students and teachers benefit from being involved in the Cooperation BEST program. Students are exposed to additional positive role models, become more informed consumers, learn about many different career choices and develop a more positive attitude toward the community. Teachers can incorporate how classroom learning can translate to real world, develop a heightened motivation for learning and provide students with a chance to become more involved in their community.
